From the moment I received my first toy piano at the age of three, I believe I intuitively knew music would be an integral part of my life. Some of my fondest memories from my childhood are of singing and swing dancing around the kitchen table with my mom; belting out oldies with my dad singing in his choir boy falsetto; practicing for years of piano, voice and dance lessons; and majoring in voice at Ithaca College. That love has grown into a 20+ year career as a music educator during which my students inspire me every day. Whether teaching, performing or listening, I get no greater joy than when I am sharing my music with others.

Over the years, I have been blessed to experience so many facets of music-making and it is my gratitude for all of the opportunities and the outstanding performers with whom I have collaborated that inspired me to record my first album. Entitled, “My Silver Lining”, it is a collection of some of the joyous classics from the Great American Songbook to which I have long been drawn for their nostalgic sentiment, energizing rhythms and lyrical melodies that transport the listener back to a time of simplicity, earnestness and civility.

I hope you will join me in celebrating this remarkable genre of music and check out my recordings here!
